OVERTAKE VIP Gamepass Guide

The OVERTAKE VIP gamepass is the only rate in the shop that permanently changes how much highway time is worth. EMZ Games lists it in the experience description as a 50% cash boost. In the garage and on the highway it also shows a VIP tag and grants 25,000 cash when you buy. It does not unlock a secret car, it does not raise top speed, and it does not replace tuning.

Buy it when you already like the loop. Skip it when you still stall leaving the garage. This page is the full breakdown for PC and Console players (mobile is not supported yet) on the 15-player servers that have been live since 28 February 2025.

What you actually get

1. Fifty percent more cash. Highway payouts, and typically code grants that credit as cash, pay more. Worked numbers live on cash boost math. On a 100,000 code, VIP alone turns the popup into 150,000 if the boost applies to redeemed cash. On an example 40,000 per hour farm, VIP prints 60,000. Those are the two numbers that should decide the purchase, not the tag.

2. A VIP tag. Other people in the 15-player mix can see you are paying for rate. That is social, not aerodynamic. Drive the same overtake line you would without the tag.

3. 25,000 cash. This is a one-time bump. It is the same size as the cash line on the Muscle Pack, but Muscle also gives two cars. Do not buy VIP “for the 25k.” Buy it for the 50% that keeps paying after the 25k is gone.

If the in-game pass card adds a small extra (a chat color, a garage toggle), treat it as bonus. The three items above are the ones this wiki will defend as facts.

How VIP stacks with the 10% rate

Group members and Premium users get a 10% cash boost. VIP is 50%. This wiki’s working model is additive 60% if both are active: a 100k code becomes 160k, a 40k hour becomes 64k. If EMZ Games applies them as multipliers instead, the combined factor is 1.65× (100k → 165k). Open the HUD after purchase and trust the printed number over either model.

Do not assume Premium 10% plus group 10% plus VIP 50% equals 70%. The published line is “group members and premium users get a 10% cash boost,” which reads as one 10% club, not two stacked 10% clubs. If your UI ever shows 20% before VIP, screenshot it and use that in the cash formulas.

Join the group anyway; it is free and linked from official links. Premium is a Roblox-wide decision, not an OVERTAKE product.

VIP versus packs versus codes

Codes are free when they are live. Redeem them on the how to redeem steps before you buy VIP if you want the 50% on a 100k like-milestone grant. If you buy VIP after redeeming, you do not retroactively collect the missing 50% on that grant.

Muscle Pack (650 Robux) is two A-tier cars + 25k. JDM Pack (350 Robux) is one JDM car + 10k. VIP is rate. A practical rule:

  • You will play many more hours → VIP.
  • You hate the hatch and will quit → pack.
  • You have 350–650 Robux and already own VIP → pack, then follow upgrade priority.
  • You have 30–50 Robux → do not buy Custom Color or Radio instead of saving for VIP.

When VIP pays for itself

You cannot convert Robux to cash at an official exchange rate inside OVERTAKE, so “pays for itself” means hours of boosted farming versus hours of base farming to reach the same shop row.

If a B-tier sports car plus engine is your next goal, VIP shortens the hours. If an S-tier shop supercar is the goal, VIP shortens them more, because the cash sink is larger. If you only wanted a wrap, VIP is a waste; wraps are cosmetics.

Play two unboosted sessions after Getting Started. If you still want a third, VIP is in the conversation. If you already closed the game, keep the Robux.

What VIP will not fix

VIP will not teach manual. It will not move your car up a tier letter. It will not enable mobile. It will not protect you from a ban if you then install a client script. A tagged account that noclips traffic is a tagged account that moderation can see.

VIP also will not freeze the pass price. Robux prices can change; this page describes effects, not a live sticker. Check the in-game shop at purchase time.

After you buy

  1. Confirm the tag and the 25k grant actually landed. Rejoin if the grant is late.
  2. Confirm the 50% on the next cash popup — a short farm loop is enough.
  3. Spend the 25k like upgrade priority says: engine, then gearbox, not radio.
  4. Redeem any new codes after the pass is active.
  5. Ignore players who say VIP “unlocks S.” S is still a shop car.

Buy VIP for the hourly loop, not for a one-time 25k splash.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for highway runs, codes, and tuning.

What does the OVERTAKE VIP gamepass include?

A 50% cash boost, a VIP tag, and 25,000 cash. It does not add horsepower. Compare it with car packs if you wanted bodies instead of rate.

Does VIP stack with the group 10% boost?

Plan for both to apply, often as +60% cash. Confirm on your HUD and use the worked tables on cash boost math. Group links sit on official links.

Should I redeem codes before or after buying VIP?

After, if you want the 50% on a 100k grant. Follow how to redeem once the pass is active. Buying VIP later does not restamp old grants.

Is VIP required to use Tuning?

No. Tuning is a garage system for everyone. VIP only changes how fast you can pay for the parts.

Will VIP make me win the leaderboard?

Not by itself. 15-player boards reward uptime and clean driving. Read the players hub and how to overtake if tagged players still pass you.

Can I refund VIP if I stall too much?

Roblox refunds are not a game feature. Learn manual transmission on a cheap car first, then buy the pass when the loop already feels good.
